Institut Meurice

The Institut Meurice, founded in 1892 and now integrated in the Haute Ecole Lucia de Brouckère is a school for engineers (master level) on a human scale. Our highly technical training is particularly focused on practice: students work on cutting-edge technological equipment to put theoretical concepts into context.

Research is an integral part of the course, thanks to specialised courses taught by experts from the world of business and research. Applied research is carried out in our laboratories in conjunction with our expertise in a number of fields, including biotechnology, environmental analysis, brewing sciences and chemistry.

Our state-of-the-art facilities are shared with other colleges and universities, research centres and companies (from start-ups to multinationals) to answer complex questions, develop or optimise processes, or study the feasibility of new ideas.
