Frequently Asked Questions
What is Lille 2024?
Lille 2024 is the 2024 edition of the event that annually brings together brewers of all scales, suppliers of quality ingredients, innovative equipment providers, and contributors across the beer value chain. It offers a wide range of conferences (plenaries as well as breakout sessions and workshops arranged by sponsors), a trade show where suppliers present their latest innovation and solutions as well as 5 days of informal networking opportunities (through social events in the evenings, during the coffee and lunch breaks and during brewery visits).
Every two years – on even year – the event brings together the EBC Congress and the Brewers Forum and serves as a conduit for meaningful discussions and insights into forthcoming developments that shape the brewing landscape. Through thoughtfully designed plenary sessions, interactive breakout seminars, and hands-on practical workshops, we delve into the heart of pertinent topics within the beer industry—ranging from emerging brewing technologies and refining brewing skills to strategic marketing approaches, sustainability practices, evolving consumer expectations, trade intricacies, and prevailing trends. The conference programme is split between EBC Congress sessions and Brewers Forum sessions.
What's the difference between EBC Congress and The Brewers Forum?
The EBC Congress sessions… (needs to be completed).
The Brewers Forum sessions are built around generic themes of relevance to all breweries where brewers and suppliers openly talk to each other on issues such as marketing, sustainability, business developments and brewing technologies and techniques. The open discussions allow for identifying and spotlighting best-practices, critically looking into them and helping the audience to reproduce or get inspiration from them in their own environment. The programme of the Brewers Forum sessions is put together by a team assembled by The Brewers of Europe that looks at emerging and need-to-discuss topics within the brewing sector.
