After working for a couple of years in a brewery in the South of France, Garlonn Kergourlay was one of the co-founders of the “Syndicat National des Brasseurs Indépendants” (French independent craft brewers association) in 2016.
She is now a brewing consultant. Through her project “Il était une brasserie” with a Belgian colleague, she enables the meeting between breweries and suppliers and offers technical and strategic support for micro-brewery projects in France, Belgium and Switzerland since 2018.
She’s also know as a “beer matchmaker” because she likes creating links between people in the beer industry.
She is a member of Pink Boots Society and co-founded the “French Chapter” (France, Belgium, Luxemburg, Switzerland, Monaco) last year.
As a woman in the beer industry for now 10 years, she wants to find a balance between her work-life, her passion for beers and breweries, her love for cats and her volunteering for important causes like gender equality and sustainable development.
