Yang He is a senior researcher in the R&D center of Tsingtao Brewery Co. Ltd. She obtained her PhD degree from Ocean University of China in 2011. Currently, she leads a team of researchers aiming to solve brewing problems related to yeast and develop superior yeasts for industrial brewing. While the main focus is lager and ale brewing yeast, other yeast species and probiotics are also studied for new product development.
